• Tore Godal (Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs): Opening address • Tim Wells (Chief Scientific Officer, Research & Development, Medicines for Malaria Venture, Geneva): Discovering and developing the next generation of medicines for disease control and elimination. • Peter Jay Hotez (Dean, National School of Tropical Medicine, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas): "Blue Marble Health": A framework for science diplomacy and global elimination of the neglected tropical diseases. • Richard G. A. Feachem (Director of the Global Health Group, UCSF Global Health Sciences, San Francisco): Prepared comments and introduction to discussion.
